Cheryl and Bill Jamison's landmark book on cooking real American backyard barbecue, Smoke & Spice was published 20 years ago and has sold more than a million copies. This demo/class will celebrate the new edition of Smoke & Spice with its 50 additional recipes, and tastes will be paired with chilled Rosé wines from Chateau D'Esclans.

Chef Kim Mueller and Floating World owner & Certified Sake Sommelier Deborah Fleig will offer a cooking demo and sake tasting, sampling a few signature dishes with sake pairings from izanami, the new Japanese-inspired izakaya at Ten Thousand Waves. Opened in November 2013, izanami has already been featured in several local and national publications and was a semi-finalist for the 2014 James Beard Award for Best New Restaurant.
